How to Get There ?
If you are coming from abroad, we suggest you to fly to Jakarta (CGK) because you will find many domestic flights to Sorong, but you still have another option to take Kuala Lumpur (KUL) or Singapore (SIN) to be your hub to Sorong via Makassar by Air Asia or Manado by Silk Air, please consider cause these airlines only have 4 flights in a week.
If you are flying from Jakarta (CGK), you can take a non-stop 4 hours* flight to Sorong by NAM Air, Batik Air and Garuda Indonesia. These flight will depart on midnight and estimated arrival on early morning (local time).
Another option you might take is a 6 hours (or more)* flight with a stopover in Makassar (UPG) by various airlines like Garuda Indonesia, Sriwijaya Air or Batik Air. This is the most flight-route taken by many travelers to reach Sorong.
Alternatively, you can fly from Bali to Sorong. Flying from Bali (DPS) to Sorong, with connecting flights in Makassar (UPG) are offered by various airlines like Garuda Indonesia and Sriwijaya Air.
